Police

Our local police station is 2511 Parkers Lane, 360-8400 (24 hours). For routine inquiries and other matters that do not require dispatching an officer, the Police Department encourages us to call the local station.

Dispatch office is 691-2131 (24 hours). This office coordinates all officers in the field regardless of which district or area they are in.

Copies of reports which police make while investigating an automobile accident are available from the local station. Those they make when dispatched to investigate other incidents are not available to be read. The department will issue a "verification" that the police officer did file a report.

Two helicopters are owned by the department for search and rescue, medical evacuations and traffic observation.

State Police telephone number 323-4500 is probably not one you need very often except to report or inquire about non-emergency matters on the Interstate Highway System.
